The hotel was nice with quiet location near the metro station to get into central town. The staff were amiable, ready to any request. Our twin room had a small refrigerator, coffee, and a TV. A bathtub in the own bathroom was a plus. Really enjoyed our time at the property, thanks very much...

The rooms at Valckesteyn were absolutely cozy and comfortable! I loved the private entrance in the double room, it made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. The single room with air conditioning was a blessing on hot summer days, and the twin room had the added convenience of an electric kettle. Plus, the kitchenware in the single room was a pleasant surprise. the rooms offered a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
If there's one thing I didn't particularly enjoy, it would be the shared bathroom with a bath in some units. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate the communal aspect of it.

Stayed at a place with free WiFi and a garden, had a continental breakfast. Almost felt like I was in an airport with Rotterdam The Hague Airport so close by. But hey, at least it's featured!
Oh, what a shame, I couldn't find any cons. Guess the universe was having a good day!

Thank you for a very comfortable stay. the location is MARVELLOUS, in the middle of the city. - It's nestled in a very beautiful building very close to a metro station. - Both Rotterdam and the Hague are easily accessible from the location.

I recently stayed at a lovely BnB in Rotterdam called Valckesteyn for a few days with my mum. The hosts, Herma and Jan, were absolutely lovely, even though they only speak Dutch. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the nearby subway station which we used frequently to explore the city. The room was comfortable and had great amenities like AC, a mini fridge, and a TV. The bathroom, although a wet room, functioned perfectly fine. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

A unique feature of the hotel was the private entrance in the double room. It felt like having your own secret hideaway, just like Batman entering the Batcave. The twin room had an electric kettle, which was a true savior for us tea lovers. We could easily brew a cup of goodness anytime, just like having a personal tea sommelier.
Common bathroom for 2 rooms.
